What is ParelVR?
A social VR platform made by Parel LLC for players 16 and up. You meet people in worlds the community builds, wear whatever avatar you like, and join groups.
How do I sign up?
Create a free ParelVR account, then confirm your age with our free ID and face verification. Age checks never involve buying anything.

No. ParelVR also runs in desktop mode with a keyboard and mouse.
Age and safety
What's the age requirement?
ParelVR is strictly 16+. Nobody under 16 is allowed to use the platform.
How does ID verification work?
Scan the front and back of your ID, take a selfie with a quick liveness check, then read a few numbers out loud. It's free and runs on our own servers using the open-source Idswyft tool.

ID and selfie photos are deleted as soon as the check finishes. The voice check is never recorded or stored.
How is cheating handled?
VOX Anti-Cheat, built by Parel LLC, works alongside Easy Anti-Cheat. Players caught using cheats are banned, and repeat offenders are banned by device.
How do reports get handled?
Every report is read by a real person on the team. You can report a player in game or through Support.

Can I build my own world?
Yes. Build it in Unity and publish it with the ParelVR SDK, the same tools we use for our own worlds.

What will ParelVR launch on?
ParelVR comes out in early access on the Meta Quest store (standalone Quest) on November 30, 2026, and on Steam (PC VR and desktop) on November 11, 2026. Both store pages are up now as Coming soon, so you can wishlist it. You use the same account, friends and worlds on both.
What does early access mean?
The game is playable and gets regular updates while we keep building it. Things will change, and some features are still on the way. Every update is posted in our Discord.
ParelVR+
What is ParelVR+?
An optional membership for $10 a month or $90 a year, plus tax. It adds extra customization and tools. You don't need it to play.
About ParelVR+How do I cancel?
Turn off renewal on the ParelVR+ page of the player site. Your perks stay on until the end of the period you paid for.
